Q: Corinne, can you please tell us a bit about yourself and what you bring to your work in real estate?
A: Sure, so my connection to Greater Boston runs deep. From my local roots growing up in Chelmsford to settling in Arlington with my husband Winslow decades ago, I understand what makes the Boston area so special. Our son Eliot went through the Arlington Public Schools.
My path has been unique - from studying Economics undergrad at Tufts University to pursuing my passion for photography in New York City for years before returning to Boston. Once I returned to Massachusetts, I enjoyed a long run as an award-winning photographer here in Boston before segueing into real estate! In my career as a photographer, I prided myself on delivering amazing customer service and a rich artistic experience to discerning clients. I bring that same client-focused mindset to work in real estate every day.
I've also channeled my creative eye and my natural analytical tendencies into my work with home buyers and sellers. I recently took a personality test and it turns out I am an extrovert/analytical. That would not be a surprise to any of my clients who know I love reports to validate what is happening in the market, and I love strategizing to get the best outcome for my clients.
In all, I'd say my local knowledge, visual and marketing expertise, and market insight allow me to guide my clients through their real estate journeys with confidence and clarity. Q: Corinne, why Leading Edge?
A: Leading Edge is an independent real estate brokerage with approximately 150 agents in 9 offices in Massachusetts. I am based out of the Belmont office, but I frequent the other offices as well when I am on the road or need to meet a client at one of the other offices.
At its core, the brokerage is highly ethical and is known for its fierce advocacy on behalf of buyers and sellers. This appeals to me and aligns with my values.

Through Leading Edge, I am able to offer my seller clients a "GO" service to help finance any improvements to their property before coming on the market. Leading Edge gets paid back from the proceeds of the sale. Improvements are optional, of course, and are typically recommended only if doing them provides a positive return on investment. Providing this service affords my clients an additional opportunity to make more from the sale of their home.
Finally, the reason I work out of Belmont is because of Butternut Bakehouse. They have the best lattes, baked goods, and a wonderful roast vegetable sandwich! Everything they make is remarkable. Highly recommend!
